Mark, Thanks for the new 1-on-1 Insane Hybrid, definitely makes Insanity look like a walk in the park. LOL. Thanks also for the daily inspiration in the way you live your life. Living the dream and walking it out by example speaks far louder and is so much more profound than those that bellow their words with clanging cymbals claiming they have now arrived.
Thanks for being real….

omg!!!!! thanks mark I have been looking for this all over the message boards thanks!!!!
is the concept same as p90x?
also are the results gonna be the same? -
Ok Mr. Briggs I had question say a person does not have the insanity deluxe package!
WHat workout should he do instead of the deluxe ones?
also I dont have bun shaper one on one, what workout could I substitute for that? -
Hassan – You can plug in either Plyometrics or Plyo Legs in place of Bun Shaper. As for not having the Deluxe package, you can plug in Plyo Cardio Circuit (in place of Max Interval Sports, you can use Max Cardio Plyo – or any of the other Max workouts).
-
Tammy – I’m glad you like it. Keep me posted on your progress as you work your way thorugh!

Hey Mark man im a young 21 year old and ive always been a skinny ectomorph so im always really trying to bulk up with muscle mass without gaining fat ive completed p90x and p90x + and started incorporating one on one workouts i got ripped but my arms didnt get as big as i wanted them too so i started doing compound exercises with barbells i got abit bigger but not in the areas that i wanted to get bigger im just wondering would this new training schedule help me , if not what do you suggest, could you maybe in the future develop a schedule based around gaining muscle mass thanks man your awesome!
-
i also forgot to mention that i ate tons of protein 5 meals a day took many different supplements like creatine and nitrous oxide inhibitors and most of the beach body supplements and i used a weight vest with 40 pounds to make pull ups and push ups harder and i did gain tons of strength my whole torso got huge including my shoulders and core and chest and back its just my arms didn’t grow as much they seem disproportionate thats the only problem i have really my arms are just too small
-
Mr Briggs I know I ask a lot of questionns lol!
What are the results going to be with this hybrid? muscle mass? -
hello i am new here, can i know how can i tweak the workouts to emphasize on muscle mass, or for definition and other stuff?? i have one on one, p90x and the plus, i love your site and i think you are great by living by example!!!(fitness is part of your lifestyle, not all)
-
Steve – I sent you an email to answer your questions directly – but I’ll just reiterate, P90X would probably be the best program for adding muscle mass.
Hassan – Its going to give you a leaner look, and is not designed to add muscle size. However, bodyweight is going to be completely controlled through your diet.
Sky – with the amount of cardio based exercise in this rotation, it is NOT something you will want to do if you are interested in adding muscle size (mass). You can gain/lose weight by adding/deducting calories, but with the nature of the movements, you aren’t going to add muscle size. You will, however, improve strength and endurance. Even if you lift heavy on the One On One days, I think the amount of cardio would offset your ability to really add size.

would it be ok to tweak the schedule just a bit?
like in week 1 instead of mammoth uml do diamond delts! I want the schedule to fit my needs! I dont want to gain mass neither get more leaner! just gain maybe a little muscle like you look or tonys look!!
Thanks -

Long time reader, first time writer… Just curious, did not see the Insanity weighted workout in the rotation, I dont have that one and was curious if that workout is up to snuff with the other insanity tapes, I figured it would fit in here nicely with this type of rotation… Just Curious…

Great job man

I just had a couple questions regarding this workout schedule. I’m already fairly lean, 16% body fat, but I’d love to see 14%. As a woman, I’m not necessarily interested in increasing muscle mass, I’m just looking to make them “pop” more. Like the way Traci looks in X+, or Rachel in Insanity Upper Body Weight routine. Will this schedule achieve that look? And where could I add in the Insanity Upper Body Weight routine? Thanks for you help!!
-
Lori – I do believe that this would certainly give you the look that you are after. Feel free to plug the Insanity weight routine in a couple days a week – just be sure to have a couple days in-between sessions.

Blog looks really good mate, keep it up! I keep shedding the pounds thanks to information like this and my studies on resveratrol.

Mr. Briggs, I am interested in the same thing that Steve was. I basically have done the same things he has. I believe I am a mesomorph, and I don’t think i will have a problem getting big, but I dont want to give up P90x I love it too much, so if you could tell me how to make it more for building mass I would really appreciate it.
thanks man,
keep bringing in

Ripped – Thanks! Keep up the great work on the self-shredding!

Just finished up with the P90X program and this looks great. I posted it to my blog as well , giving you credit of course. I have Insanity and may try this one next. See you in LA!
-
Mark,
I don’t have the One on One’s. I completed P90X twice and in my first round of Insanity. I thought I saw you post something that had substitions for the One on One’s using P90X workouts? Therefore it would be a P90X Insanity hybrid. Thanks for your help.
-
Johnny – Ease back on the cardio by a day, and roll in another day of resistance. Also, target the 6-8 rep range to build bulk muscle. Bulking up or leaning out are both directly related to your food intake. Once you know your maintenance calories, add 300-500 per day to slowly bulk up, and the opposite to lean out.
David – I haven’t put together a hybrid for that yet, but you could certainly keep P90X as your base program, and simply throw Insanity workouts in on the cardio days to make a hybrid.
-
Mark
Great workout program, I been looking for something like this. By any chance, do you or anyone else have a hybrid that incorporates P90X plus, insanity and one on one’s. Thanks again Mark -
Fred – check the Team Beachbody message boards. There are LOTS of hybrid programs there.
-
Thanks Mark and I did check it out. Awesome workouts.
